“I finally
that I
do not
– Tyler Knott Gregson –

This is utterly beautiful and I will not tolerate anyone saying otherwise!

I’m going to try to stay in shallow waters and not delve into any deep emotions and analyses that I have in regards to this poem.  It’s beautiful because it perfectly describes the moment when I realized that I wanted to spend my life writing.  They may just be mere words that I type, one after another, but they’re more than just words – they’re my words that come from me and I have a personal connection with them.  Every word and sentence and paragraph that I write is something that I thought then formed in my mind.  Writing is more than just telling a story:  it’s immortalizing the writer on paper with inked words that are a part of them.  Does that make sense?

That’s how I see this poem.  That’s how most likely everyone views this poem, since there isn’t exactly much left to interpretation!  But, yes, I love it.
